FREE ORAL RAPID HIV TESTING
The Clark County Combined Health District, 529 E. Home Rd, is celebrating National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on March 20th from 9 am- 4pm, by offering free HIV Testing.
Men and Women above age 13 are welcome to attend. OraQuick Advance is a rapid oral testing device that is 98.9% accurate. Results are ready in 20 minutes! For more information, call 390-5600.

Information & Referral/2-1-1 received official news that we received full National Airs Accreditation! We have been working hard at obtaining accreditation for the last couple years. What does this mean? We have objective evidence of achievement in the areas of service quality and effectiveness, community involvement and organizational stability in the field of Information & Referral. We would like to thank service providers and our callers in helping us achieve this milestone!
2-1-1 is busy trying to get our database online for you! Our entire database will be searchable online- Look for news in the upcoming month!

Sexual Health Clinic in Champaign County
A federal grant is providing new health services, including pap smears, breast exams, pelvic exams and colorectal screenings to those who are uninsured, underinsured or have medicaid. Appointments are now available at the Champaign County Helath Department. Call 642-2053 for an appointment.
The Learning Cafe
The Learning Cafe through the Springfield City Schools, is a program that offers a variety of for-credit and personal interest courses, as well as nutritious dinners and social services. Any springfield resident who lives in the city school district is invited to attend- students, families, anyone!! Most of the courses are free! Catholic Charities, 701 E. Columbia Street. Call 325-8715 starting January 17 to make an appointment. Holly is in charge of the program and income level is up to $60,000.
United Senior Services VITA Site, 101 S. Fountain Ave., Springfield. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, walk-in basis and the service starts Feb.2.
Villa Park Senior Services Satellite, 1350 Vester Ave. Friday from 1:00-4:00 pm by appointment only. To schedule, call 399-3411 on T, W, Thru from 12:30-3:30pm and ask for Jane. The service starts Feb. 3 and ends on April 13.
New Carlisle Public Library, 111 E. Lake Ave, New Carlisle, every Thursday from 1:00-5:00 pm. The service starts Feb. 9 and ends April 12 and is on a walk-in basis.
Clark County Public Library, Enon Branch, 209 E. Main St. Enon. Mondays starting Feb 6-April 11 from Noon-5:00 pm. Walk-in basis.
St. John's Lutheran Church, 27, N. Wittenberg. The service starts February 2 and runs every Tuesday through April 12. This is a walk-in basis from 10:00am-2:00pm.

The following agencies are offering free tax preparation through the Ohio Benefit Bank for those with an adjusted gross income of $60,000 or less:
Stepping Stones Outreach Ministries- Call 652-1303 for an appointment. Open Mon-Fri 9-4. Some Saturday appointments available
Catholic Charities- Open Tuesday-Friday 8:30-4:00, call for an appointment, 652-2125
Tri-County CAC- Special Tax Session on Saturday, February 4th. Appointments available at other times, Call 652-2246 Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30.
St. Paris Public Library, 127 E. Main Street, St. Paris. Monday’s from 9:30-2:30 starting February 6. Call 663-4349 to schedule an appointment.

Springfield Men's Homeless Shelter Changes Name, Address
The former Craig House of Interfaith Hospitality is now known as The Hartley House. The new address is 440 West High Street. They also have a new phone number 521-1071. The move allows for more capacity and administrative offices on site.

EARLY DETECTION IS YOUR BEST PROTECTION!!
There is a new program that is designed for Women who live in Clark and Champaign Counties, between the ages of 40-70. You must meet income guidelines, be uninsured or underinsured, or have a Medicaid spend-down requirement. Special circumstances will be considered. 3 Easy Steps to get a mammogram:
Step One: Call Community Mercy MedAssist at 390-5513 or 653-5231; They will determine your eligibility and make your appointment at Rocking Horse Community Health Center.
Step Two: Get an Order for a Mammogram; Arrive at Rocking Horse Center at your assigned appointment time. Clinics are the third Thursday of the month from 4-6 PM. Receive a simple screening and breast exam. Walk out with your order for your mammogram.
Step Three: Schedule your mammogram at the Imaging Center of your Choice; Present your written order at the time of your appointment at either Crystal Clear Imaging, Springfield Regional Imaging Center or Mercy Memorial Hospital.
